Donald Hickson has lived in South Jersey for over forty-five years growing up in Gloucester Twp., Camden County. After playing football at Georgia Tech and a brief stint with the Cleveland Browns he returned home to his South Jersey roots, married his high school sweetheart and resides in Washington Twp., Gloucester County with his wife and two children. Donald and his wife Carmella have raised two wonderful children that are both pursuing careers as medical doctors.

Donald has served the State of New Jersey and its’ citizens as a New Jersey State Trooper for over twenty-five years. During his time as a trooper, he has worked patrol at Tuckerton, Buena Vista, Bellmawr, Atlantic City Expressway, Red Lion and Moorestown stations. Additionally, he has personally protected the Governor of New Jersey, State Legislators and other dignitaries while working in the State Governmental Security Bureau. He has also had the distinct honor of representing New Jersey as a member of New Jersey Task Force-1 during hurricane Katrina relief in New Orleans, LA. More recently, he has worked for five years as a criminal science and traffic science instructor for recruit classes at the New Jersey State Police training academy. Lastly, he works directly for the Colonel of the New Jersey State Police as the Division Traffic Officer. As the Division Traffic Officer, he oversees the purchase, maintenance, upfitting and allocation for all 2700+ vehicles utilized by every state trooper. After his twenty-five years of service, Donald retired in March of 2023.

As a member of The John Clidy Group at Keller Williams Real Estate Donald still wishes to serve his South Jersey community as a real estate agent. As a licensed real estate agent in the state of New Jersey, Donald serves the entire state with concentration in the Southern New Jersey Counties. He is excited and highly motivated to be working with The John Clidy Group as an agent. He works with a 14-member team with over 55 years of experience, which has sold in excess of 4000 units.
